Snehapanam Ayurveda Treatment in Kerala

At vinayaka ayurvedic hospital snehapanam ayurveda treatment is prescribed to patients for the cure of gastroenterological issues. Sneha means ghee and pana means drink, snehapana means drinking of ghee or oil. The medicated oil or ghee is taken in a particular amount and is made warm and is given to the patient in the early morning in empty stomach. It is done before the panchakarma treatment in Kerala. Dose is depended upon the agnibala of the patient. After the snehapanam patient is allowed to drink hot water sip by sip up to digestion of the sneha part. After digestion the prescribed diet is to be given. And whenever the hunger is attained he should be given with lite diet.. Likewise this in further days dosage is slightly increased as per agnibala. In arohana krama ghee is given upto 7 days, or till neha yogya laksanas/ samyak sniggdha lakshanas are attained. Then after one day patient can be subjected to purification therapy. Its indicated in all chronic disorders, it has shown wonderful effects. Increases life span and vigor, improves digestion and complexion.
